  Thallus brownish to olive-green, lacking pseudocyphellae corticate. Ascomata solitary, conical, superficial on the substratum, the sides often partly covered by the thallus, c. 0.7–1.0 mm diam. Ascomatal wall with crystals, to 200 μm thick; ostiole apical, pale. Hamathecium not inspersed with oil droplets, IKI–. Ascospores 8 per ascus, irregularly uniseriate, 3-septate, fusiform, with rounded ends, grey to brown, 15–19 × 5–7 μm; lumina angular; terminal lumina separated from the exospore by a thin endospore layer.
CHEMISTRY: No substances detected.
     
  Occurs in south-eastern Qld and Tas. Pantropical and warm- to cool-temperate, usually in lowland forest.
