| Thallus ash-grey, thin, somewhat cracked, smooth, slightly glossy. Ascomata numerous, conspicuous, scattered, straight, curved or sinuous, sometimes branched, sessile, 1–3 mm long, 0.15–0.20 mm wide, with a conspicuous thalline margin; lips closed. Proper exciple laterally carbonised, occasionally almost completely carbonised. Hymenium 100–120 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, transversely 12–16-locular, (50–) 54–70 (–74) × 9–12 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected. |
