| Thallus off-white, thin, smooth, dull. Ascomata conspicuous, scattered, straight, curved or sinuous, sessile, rarely branched, with a thick thalline margin, 1–7 mm long, 0.4–0.5 (–0.6) mm wide; lips closed. Proper exciple completely carbonised. Hymenium 150–200 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, irregularly biseriate, elongate-cylindrical, with rounded ends, transversely 14–18-locular, 66–84 × 9–10 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: Stictic acid. |
