Thallus off-white, thin, smooth, dull. Ascomata numerous, scattered, conspicuous, sessile, simple, 0.5–0.8 mm long, 0.3–0.5 mm wide, with a conspicuous thalline margin; lips closed. Proper exciple completely carbonised. Hymenium 150–180 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 1 per ascus, muriform, 95–120 × (13–) 15–20 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected. |

A very rare, corticolous species in north-eastern Qld; also in the West Indies and Costa Rica. | ||
