  Thallus olive-green, slightly subtuberculate, glossy. Ascomata conspicuous, sessile, concolorous with the thallus, straight, curved or sinuous, unbranched, 1–6 (–8) mm long, 0.5–0.8 mm wide, to 0.4 mm tall; lips sometimes opening slightly to expose the proper exciple. Proper exciple complete, reddish brown. Hymenium 150–200 µm thick. Ascospores muriform, 4–5 × (2–) 3–4-locular, 21–28 × 13–18 µm, I+ blue.
CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected.
     
  An uncommon, corticolous species in eastern Qld and N.S.W.; also reported from Ecuador and from Réunion in the western Indian Ocean.
