Thallus whitish, glossy, isidiate; isidia 0.5–4.0 mm tall, 0.10–0.15 mm thick, rare to densely crowded, cylindrical, sometimes branched. Ascomata ±emergent, 0.5–4.0 mm long, c. 0.5 mm wide, straight or flexuose, unbranched to sparingly branched, completely covered by a concolorous thalline margin. Proper exciple completely carbonised. Hymenium c. 70 µm thick. Ascospores (4–) 6–8 per ascus, 4-locular, 14–17 × 4.5–6.0 µm, I–. CHEMISTRY: Protocetraric acid. |
