Thallus on bark, foliose, adnate to loosely adnate, lobate, ±fenestrate, 2–9 cm wide, 250–400 µm thick. Lobes irregularly oblong to flabellate, contiguous to discrete, anastomosing occasionally, 1.5–4 mm wide. Upper surface smooth to finely wrinkled or ridged, isidiate, pale grey to leaden grey or becoming brown with age; isidia in ±dense patches, globose to ovoid, sometimes forming lobules. Lower surface rhizinate, concolorous or brown to black; rhizines ±fasciculate, black, sometimes arising from black anastomosing hyphae. Apothecia unknown. Pycnidia laminal, blotch-shaped to papilliform. Conidia 2–3.5 µm long. | ||
Occurs in north-eastern Qld; also in Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Fiji. | ||
