This is one of two 'Norfolk Island Early Botanical Art' stamps.

Plant: Lagunaria patersonia

Family: MALVACEAE

Common-name: Norfolk Island Hibiscus, Pyramid Tree, Sally Wood

It is a medum to large tree, a member of the hibiscus family,
and is covered with small pink and mauve flowers in spring and summmer.
