Abstract

Lophomyrtus bullata Burret is the legitimate and is the correct scientific name in Lophomyrtus for ramarama. Lophomyrtus aotearoana E.C. Nelson is an illegitimate name and Myrtus aotearoana (E.C. Nelson) E.C. Nelson is a provisional name with no status.
