TYPE:   "In arid plains, at the foot of Mount Abrupt, in Kangaroo Island, and Encounter Bay."
COMMENT:   Also published by Mueller in Hooker's J. Bot. & Kew Gard. Misc. 8 (1856) 41. See paper by O.Seberg, Taxon 35 (1986) 262–271 which discusses the date of publication of Mueller's preprint.
