Barker, Robyn Mary (1948 - )Born in 1948.
Robyn is an Honorary Research Associate of the South Australian Herbarium.
She now works part-time, her duties include maintenance of the Vascular Plant Census for the State.
Her research interests also include systematics and several plant genera.
She is a life member of the Australian Systematic Botany Society.
She has worked with her husband Bill Barker on the genus Hakea (Proteaceae), and on the genus Calycopeplus (Euphorbiaceae).
She has also written on the botanical legacy of the 1802 South Australian plants collected by Robert Brown and Peter Good on Matthew Flinders' Investigator and by the French scientists on Baudin's ships Géographe and Naturaliste.
